2003 Water Pump

Hey all I just had my waterpump go out couple a days ago it threw the Serpentine belt only have 90,000 miles. No indication it was leaking, bearings in the pump went bad. Took it off just about 30 min. ago (2) Bolts hold it on. What I noticed was the weep hole was clog with dirt and grease, it never leaked or anything. It shaved off some of the tips of the impellar but didn't hurt anything that I can see.

Y'all look careful on your engines just for safty it left me stranded for about 2hrs. Got it towed home. When you don't have a belt running your power steering that thing is about like driving with the steering wheel locked in place. Oh ya no brakes either when the belt comes off.

My question is the water pump a cummins only part or can I pick it up at the Autoparts store?

You can pick them up at just about any parts store. That pump is covered under the cummins 100,000 mile warranty just so you know. If you took it off already, its probably too late now anyway.
