2003 Fuel rail Pressure is Jumping

Well im not sure whats going on..
I just had new DDP 60Hp injectors put in it
Fass Fuel pump & an Edge insight gages All at same time. Truck has 300,00k on it

Now Im watching my Edge and the rail presher is all over the place at idel
From Lowest iv seen is 3.8 & jumps up to about 6.2, This is all the time at idel it never stops jumping around.. The edges Alarms keep going off at me all the time..

Any ideas what could b the problem?
Fuel pressure sensor?
Fuel pressure releaf valve?

It could be a couple of things.

1. Injector install issue.
2. Bad injector
3. Bad pressure relief valve.

I would try a new pressure relief valve since it has probably never been replaced.

I have factory sticks and Isspro gauges and at a 300k+ mile idle my Isspro Rail Pressure gauge shows a steady 5k psi reading.

Ok well just put a new Fuel pressure sensor in & no differance. Fuel pressure relief checks out ok..

Maybe the Fuel Control Actuator?
Could it b the Edge insight is just a really sensitive?

It almost sounds like the FCA is giving faulty signals to the ECM......do the idle rpm's change with the RP fluctuation?

Nop not that i can tell.. Im starting to think this EDGE Insight is just really sensitive. But its $180 for a New FCA so i might just get one any ways.. Cant hurt.

The FCA coupled with the ECM controls your RP. If it's giving the ECM funky signals then your pressure will fluctuate. Mine was so bad that it actually caused the engine the race up and down on it's own.....from idle to 2000k rpms!!!!!! RP reading on Scantool was anywhere from 3500psi all the way up to 18000 at the snap of your finger.....all without me ever touching the throttle!!! I believe Genos sells them for a little over a $100.
