2003 3500 hard to start
03 is very hard to start, takes several times cranking to get it going, once running it runs perfect.
Shut it off for a couple minutes and it wont start again, starts a little better when it sits over night.
Had the fuel system checked out and only 750 psi in the fuel rail when cranking and too much injector return flow, Dodge diesel tech says all the injectors are bad, truck had all 6 injectors replaced under warranty 25-30k ago, now has 85k. All 6 bad again in 30k???
How would injectors leaking that bad be able to run OK once started?
No diesel in oil!
I hear FI Flux 1 are the best replacements.

Check to see if you are getting fuel in the oil! If so then it is your injectors if not check for a very slow leak in your fuel lines or a return line! It sounds like you are lousing prime. You might try turning your key on and Waite 30sec then do it 2 more times. If it starts good then you could have a leak in one of your limes. == GOOD LUCK ==

you need 4k or more to injectors for them to work. You have bleed off and its coming from the injector bodies. A bad injector will not always put fuel in the oil, mite try and see if the crossover tubes are loose. Yea they can go in 30k if you arent changing your fuel filter enough or running crappy fuel. A power box speeds up the sandblasting process from dirty fuel
My original injrctors were replace under warrany at 82,000 by the dealership. The replacements only lasted till 104,000 (that's only 22,000 miles and out of warranty), I am guessing they used reman units. I had that set replaced by an independent fuel injection business with a new set of Bosch injectors and have 126,000 on it now and am keeping my fingers crossed that they last at least as long as the original set.
