I get about 22-23 empty at 65-70. I drive about 80mph most of the time though and get 18-19.
Towing 12k I get 13ish on average.
Mine is Auto/srw/smarty Revo on 7 (even when I tow) and a good tranny setup.

I get about 19.5 to 20. I do drive a little aggressive sometimes. Right now I estimate I am close to 480hp to the wheels.

You should also ask for whether the MPG is hand calculated or mileage computer. Anyone running a "chip" will see inflated mileage (2-6 mpg) on the mileage computer.

Mine gets a solid 17.5 mpg hand calculated at 65 mph max in 60% hwy / 40% city commuting.

2007 3500 DRW 2wd crew cab 5.9L w/ 48RE auto.

My 04.5 4x4 got only 16 or so hwy-13-14 city under good conditions. My 07 5.9 identical truck gets 20-22 hwy and 16 or better around town. Don't know what the difference as all items are same on both trucks. By the way that is hand calculated, not overhead. And yes, it's a 4x4 so the 2x4 should be slightly better, but not much.

I took it for granted on the hand calculate deal. I see a lot in the 20s my 01 is getting 15.5 mix and 18-19 on the highway. My old 98 12V 5 spd 4X4 4.10 gear was getting 16 mix and 18-19 on the higway also.

Not everyone hand calc's their mileage. On my 2003 Dmax I believed all the outrageous mpg increase claims and bought the exact same chip. My mileage computer jumped 4 mpg instantly. However, when hand calculated the mileage was the exact same as stock.

If there was a chip that would truly boost the mpgs then I would temp fate and my warranty. So far I am not convinced.

I had an 06 srw 2x4, on the way to trade it in (350 miles away) I got 23mpg hand calculated averaging 75 or so. The truck only had 17k miles at the time so I imagine it would have increased a bit over time. Now i have an 06 4x4 and rarely see 18mpg on the hwy.

I have an 04' quad cab 2wd and usually avarage 20-21 mpg,(23 if I really baby it) between city and highway driving. That's driving conservatively. If I wamp on it I will get around 19 or so. That's without towing. Towing you have to factor weight and type of driving, so it may vary greatly.
