I'll take a SWAG here: probably every other gas station in Dayton will carry it. You can't find it or something?

#2 diesel is your typical run of the mill diesel fuel sold by every station that carries diesel fuel. We're talking Dayton on I-75? Loaded with truck traffic?

Or did I mis-read the thread title?

SWAG. Now that I know you didn't know that ULSD is indeed #2 diesel; I had to take a Scientific Wild A$$ Guess (SWAG) to figure out what you were asking. A SWAG has just a bit more thought put into it than a WAG.

There are still some stations here selling LSD #2; but most stations are carrying ULSD.

Nice Acronym...have to remember that one

FWIW, some stations are still selling LSD, but they also HAVE to sell ULSD as a requirement!

Beginning Jan 1, LSD won't be available at all (for your truck). Only the ULSD may be sold.

IIRC the EPA said that 80% of the US diesel fuel supply has to be ULSD. The other 20% can be LSD for farm, trains and off road use until 2010 after that all diesel made has to be ULSD. So it is possible to find some LSD around but most are selling ULSD. One reason they have not change the stickers to ULSD on the pumps is because there tank’s having not run enough ULSD through them to flush out the sulfur left over in the tanks from LSD.
