17.01 mpg

just filled her up and did the math, 17 mpg on a truck with 700 miles on it. im happy most of it was highway at about 65 to 70, with the ocasonal WOT pass/blow her out. not ***** footing it by any means. not pulling anything eather.

Not bad with the G56; my last fill up was 18.7 With 75% highway (70-75) 25% city (0-50) and the GV OD. That 6-speed is awesome isn't it?! I love rowing those gears.

i love that you can hear the turbo spool up, then down, back up, down, up,

and that was using ulsd too with no additave. going to go talk to the tech at the dealer, he was telling me about some stuff hes got, goign to see if i can get some too. its not factory, he gets it in 55 gallon drums for him and all his buddys.

best i ever did was 18 in the city and 21 on the hiway but that was befor the reflash now its down about 2mpg

That's great, and with that low of miles you can still expect some good improvement. Mine mpg got better all the way up til about 10,000 miles.

Nice, my 1033 miles trip in 15 hours I averaged 17.3(hand), fuel stops where like pit stops. Stanadyne and Flying J makes a difference...
