16" Dually rims on a 3rd Generation truck??
After checking out the pricing of the GSA Goodyears that come stock on a 2004 Dually I am looking into going down to a 16" rims set from a older generation truck to have a better selection of tires. Has anyone here done that and does any one know if I will have spacing problems?? I am concerned with proper backspacing and clearance for the brake system.
Can't do it. The new disk brakes are too big to fit inside the 16" rims. I also think that the bolt pattern is different.
The good news is that the selection of 17" tires is growing.
