07 tc lockup switch

Hey. Im interested in installing an tc lockup switch but before i do this is there any difference in this and the tow/haul on. One major road i drive on speed limit is 45 and its also a up and down road. My rpms are all over the place will this switch get them in one spot. i use the tow/haul but i have been noticing a drop in mpg doing this. thanks for any input.

The lockup switch will lock the TC and stack shift the trans straight into the highest gear available. I *think* if you lockout OD it will only go to drive but not positiv eon that year of truck. It works on my 05 but its a bit different.
