HI, I wanted to know if anyone knows what the problem might be with my 06 dodge 3500 5.9 diesel. I went to fire it up this morning and it cranked for a few seconds then quit.I tried it again and it tried to start but just engauged the starter for a second then it quit. I tried it again and the same thing happened. I decided to hold the key in the start possision and the starter engauged off and on for several times then she finally started.I also been having a radio issue prior to this . It plays when I'm waiting for the preheat but when I start the truck the radio quits and wont turn back on unless I turn the truck off and let it sit for awhile then start it again. I can live with the radio problem but, I can't live with it not starting. Maybe the key switch or batteries? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave

Sounds like bad battery to me. Have your batterys checked. Clean your battery connections.
