CRANKING it UP!!
CRANKING it UP!!
How much can you safely CRANK an engine up with an auto.tranny? HP & Torque. I've already got the "PUCK"
and 4" exhaust with a muffler. Always wanting more, just like everybody else. I was told any more and the tranny would go out. THANKS

Re:CRANKING it UP!!
What truck do you have?? Year?? I would assume a newer one if you have the puck?? I would enjoy what you have till the trans starts to give hints of exhuasting then go full blow on the tranny and up the ladder of HP!! Thats what I am doing, waiting for the tranny to give me the slightest trouble,I cannot make myself to spend money till it is necassary,it is the tight wad in me and the mean wife
I have come to the conclusion from this web site and others that the 47rh which I have will suffice 250 if you treat it right??? the newer e's someone else will have to guess!! Goodluck Rick

Re:CRANKING it UP!!
Your there with the stock trans the puck will add 65 HP to the truck and thats all you get with the stock transmission. You can throw more HP at it but your auto will be on borrowed time.
Re:CRANKING it UP!!
65HP from 215 is all she'll take.
Bigger box, or especially injectors, will have your tranny 6' under.
Injectors add alot more bottom end, exactly where you don't want the power in an unmodified Auto.
