06' 0341 code for 6 months now
I had/still have this problem, replaced the sensor several times and it still does it. I don't worry about it it comes and goes. I may need to check my connection and wires. If it is the cam this will be a good excuse to go aftermarket
I've heard of something similar on this board...seemed it was some wires being rubbed down near the AC compressor, and no real problem like it was thought to be- tape wires up and you're fine. IIRC what happened is the wires rubbed bare and shared power with the camshaft sensor....or something close... Can't recall where I saw that info, though, or even if your results are indicative. Worth a look down near your compressor, maybe?
this is an update: I have had my smarty JR on my 2006 Ram 2500 5.9 for about two years now. everything has been good (tow setting) until just recently.
now my truck keeps setting code: "cam position sensor" I cleared it the first time and it came back twice. I then reprogrammed to "stock" and it has not set the code in the last 300 miles????? Could the SJ be causing the code? thanks

20,000 km Code Free
Well boys 20,000 km's (12,500 miles) and no code. With chip, with out chip - nothing - just great mileage and good power.
Bully Dog for the win - that should start something... haha.
