ordered service manual when I ordered my truck. It has NOTHING in it about the 600 in my 04.5!

Dealer doesn't have a clue, dodge customer service has been no help, even Cummins doesn't know.

How can I get a factory service book that covers my truck! How do the dealers service them? They have to have diff codes etc.

They all say the one with the 305/555 is all I need.

I talked to "my" parts manager. He did not know if the manual covered the 600 engine. He said it came in two volumes and they do not put out supplements.

I guess I'll have to wait until a new volume is produced which includes the 600 and the modified 48RE tranny...

My guess has always been to wait for the 2005 service maual. The 600 and modified 48RE will definitly be in there and from what I understand the 2004.5 has modified the electrical harness as well. That should equate to the 2005 as well.
