03 injector pump fuel leak

I went on a lake trip with the family this week end. I was loaded with a bunch of coolers of ice and towing a pontoon boat about 3 1/2 hours each way, interstate driving. One time near the end I was getting back on the interstate and heard a “banging” sound. I really thought I had a tire coming apart. I let off the accelerator some and the noise went away.

When I got home I noticed fuel dripping from the injector pump area while the truck was running. I crawled underneath and it looks wet closer to the engine than the fuel pressure regulator. Is there a common place for leaks to start? I was hoping it was just the regulator but it does not look as “fresh wet” as the part of the pump next to it.

Any input is appreciated. Truck has 230k and I have owned it since 2011 with 155k
