in the front it has the a/c condensor, intercooler and radiator, and between the intercooler and radiator it looks like there is a trans cooler, could it be an oil cooler?

and what are typical reasons the A/C on these things stops working

 

The power steering cooler is below a x-member in front of the radiator. I put 2 - 12" fans above the x-member to help the AC. The engine fan doesn't come up to speed soon enough and they lose some refrigerant out the PR valve on the compressor when the head pressure goes sky high. The diesels had vacuum damper controls until 03 and you would think they never did that before - maybe they didn't! They have problems with twisting off damper linkages cuz of too much torque, no limit switches or ??? Craig
