**** Washer Fluid Light!

The indicator light on dash for washer fluid is totally acting up intermittently, and is worse when the outside temps are cold- less than 30 degrees outside.
I have: replaced the sensor in the tank, cleaned all corrosion off the wires that go to the plug, and completely disassembled the plug itself. All to no avail. Thinking of just twisting the wires together. Anyone see any problem with doing this?

When my buddies 07 does this, it is a precurser to something else throwing a code. Weird... He's asked me a bunch of times about it, but I have no answers...
