Is it the Window Regulator ?

2001 Dodge 2500 Xcab diesel. 4x4

I've had trouble for some time with my drivers window not wanting to go up when you roll it down.
Sometime it will go down a couple of inches and just stop, sometimes it acts like it would go all the way down, if I dared to let it. Roll it down, won't go up. Hit the door panel or push the glass down from the top and it will go up. I had the switch replaced two years ago.
The motor acts strong. Is it the regulator / motor or is it the door switch ? Would appreciate an idea on how the test it.
Thanks.

The door control switches are very prone to failure, I would almost put money on that door switch. To test it you need access to the back of the switch and the pin out of the switch itself.

Can you tell me how to test it ? Is this gonna be the up / down switch on the door panel or the motor swith mounted to the door frame.

It's probably the up/down switch on the door panel.
