Wheel Cylinder burst, How do I get the Drum off now!?!

Well,

Coming home from work last night the brakes went soft, my ABS light and Brake light came on, so I got home crawled under the truck and looked for leaks while my brother pumped the pedal. Couldn't find anything. Got to work this morning and my Boss notices the inside of my rear tire is glossy, I looked as he pumped the brakes and sure enough, DOT 3 is running out of the drum onto the tire.

I tried blocking the rear end up, putting it in drive and stabbing the brakes, but I don't have enough pressure to stop the drums from moving. Is there a way to manually pull the shoes in so I can pull these drums off? I tried a BFH, no luck, I don't have a torch here, and I don't want to take it anywhere with the brakes not working.

Somebody has to know a way to pop these things off without killing myself. HELP PLEASE!!!

Don't be shy with the BFH and they will eventually come off.
I've wailed with a 16 lb sledge many times and have yet to crack a drum.
I will admit though that I haven't picked up a hammer since learning the jack the rear, slam on the brakes trick many years ago.

Use the E-brake... no fluid needed for the jack method...

You may have developed a ridge on the drum so its hanging up on the brake shoes. There should be access to the adjuster on either top or bottom of the backing plate. Try backing it off. I have had trouble with the drum sticking to the hub, try PB Blaster on it.

Well I ended up wrapping a chain around a logging grapple and attached it to the drum, hooked it up the the quad and gave it a good tug. It popped off. The e-brake isn't adjusted right so it didn't have the power to stop the drum to crack it.

Thanks for the help though guys!
