What do you use your CTD pickup's for? ??? Just trying to get an understanding of what everyone uses their trucks for: work, daily commute, fun, towing toys, etc. I see alot more CTD for personal use. I use mine for the daily commute to work and for towing my 30' travel trailer. Which we pull about 15 times a year. ;D Love my Cummins. 8)

Daily driver.
Occasional (very occasional) horse/boat puller.

Daily driver mostly, getting ready to start doing some towing.

 

It's my daily driver but also pulls my fifth wheel or my 18 foot Lund.

Had a "gasser" which struggled under the load and could only manage about 8.0 mpg, which severely shortened my range.

Now I take the toy where ever I can drive to. 4 trips to FL in the last 2 years - 16.5 mpg @70 mph!! AND Looking GOOD!!

Now that's what I'm talking about!!

 

Used as daily driver, firewood hauler, and to tow my 30' 5th wheel.

 

Daily Driver, haul 8-10 loads of hay each yr, stock trailer several times a yr...

maybe a toy box, or TT later

 

Towing 28' 10K GN trailer. Hauling Farm Equipment. Loaded between 12,000 and 30,000 every week. STOCK. Handles any load fine and at 14-19 miles a gallon around town and to the farms.

 

Daily driver, occasional run to the grocery for milk, bread and taters. Did you know a 3500 makes for a heck of a milk, bread and tater hauler!! ;D

 

We use them for everything ;D groceries, to work, to play, to the rodeo, pull the horses, cattle,hay,post, tractor and anything else that needs moving ;D our only mode of transportation

 

Motorcycle hauler and for hillclimbing..

 

mostly for my morning coffee, i like to crank her up and enjoy the aroma ....daily driver, trailer my 'cuda around to some shows, pass vehicles i shouldn't normally be able to pass on the highway ( thats the fun part )

 

High Mileage daily commuting as well as no-tow traveling.
