Well I got a truck!!!

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. Wasn't real sure what one to put it in....anyways...

After looking for a few months for a 5 or 6 speed 98+ 4x4, ext cab, long bed...lol...a deal just fell into my hands...

I found a local, 1998 ext cab, long bed, 4x4, auto, with a new injection pump, lift pump, and rebuilt/beefed up tranny, all with 147k miles for 10,000.

Couldn't pass it up even though I wanted a manual. The truck already has an edge comp, straight piped, no silencer ring, leveling kit, boost, pyro, and tranny temp gauges, and I got jammer stage 5 nozzles in the deal. The truck really surprised me how fast it was for such a big vehicle. My turbo eclipse isn't much faster and it is only 3200 lbs!!

I will post some pics when I get them loaded from the camera. I do have a few questions though...

1. I want to smoke a little bit. Not a whole lot but right now it doesn't smoke at all. Should I put the nozzles on or what?

2. I am gonna have a few bucks when I sell my car. I am looking at bigger exhaust, rims/tires, bedliner...any suggestions for anything else that isn't real pricey??

Hope to get the pics up soon...

A Scotty II, 4" exhaust and gauges would be the way to go with the fueling mods your truck already has....and yeah, the stage 5's will add some smoke, and then some!.....Congratulations!!

Congrats on the truck purchase, you will love it!!! And welcome to the DTR, it is like a 2nd family, these guys are awesome here!!!

And for smoke, those injectors will make you smoke like a freakin TRAIN especially with the COMP on the 5X5 setting!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I have been reading a lot on here the last few weeks. Seems like a great place, I've been on forums both good and bad and this one seems top notch.
