Washer Fluid dribbles
Washer Fluid dribbles
I think the washer fluid hose or the squirter is plugged. Has anyone had this happen, and any advice on how to unplug? This is affecting the drivers side, not the passenger side. Thanks for the help!
Do you have one of those plastic Bug Shields on the leading edge of your hood?
If so, that can cause a problem.
When I had one on my 1st genner, it would wash the hood at 50 mph due to the turbulance it caused.

Do you have hard water in your area and do you fill the tank with that tap water? I've mixed the washer fluid 50/50 in the past and had that problem. I just started dumping in washer fluid straight up. I found the hard water clogged just nozzles, just as it does things around the house.
Well I figured that the nozzel is partially clogged, now how to remove it??? Or some good ideas of how to get is unclogged? Could air pressure do it, or is it safer and easier to take it off?? I have no idea where to start.
Sounds like you sucked crud from the resevior.
Best way to start is to disconnect the hose from the nozzle. (Under the bug/leaf guard between firewall and windshield) and use an air hose to back flush, the more pressure the better. While the hose is off try the pump to see if you get good flow to the nozzle. if you get low flow at hose end keep tracing back to see if there is a pinch somewhere or a Tee fitting with a clog.
I wouldn't back flush with the hose connected because all you'll do is push the junk back down so it can clog again.
