The kit came with everything. I did not use any exsisting wiring. The supplied wiring harness has two connectors for the fog lights, one relay which mounts under hood behind power dist box, two wires out of relay that connect to the positive terminal of distribution box. Three wires which run through firewall to the rear of the headlight switch. The orange wire mounts into the 74-way connector mounted to the firewall behind the clutch. This wire is to ground foglights when you turn on highbeams. I taped this wire so I would have foglights with low and high beams. One of the other two wires then splices into the large connector on the exsisting switch connector and the other is inserted to the supplied connector in the kit. This connector is plugged in the small male of switch and the factory plugs into the large male. The headlight switch you have now without foglights will not work. If you need info or advice pm me.
rpausewang, you have a 24 with the foglite switch combined with the headlight switch. The 12 valves like the one in question have a separate switch next to the radio.
Your number isn't good on a 12.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but I've looked everywhere to find the grey plastic piece that's behind the bumper and has the round holes for the fog lights. Does anyone know where these can be found and what are they "officially" called. My truck just has two big rectangular holes in the bumper and you see the frame and other stuff in there.
Thanks

I used the OEM switch for fogs on my '95. No special plug, just used female crimp-on spade connectors. I grabbed the power for the dimming indicator light off of the OD switch. Only other wires needed were ground, two positives (one for the on indicator light, the other for the switched +) and one switched + out. After searching for the underdash end of the wiring harness for a couple hours just ended up running one wire from the switch to a relay mounted on the battery holder. Supplied positive to the relay with a inline fused wire right to the battery. New wire to the lamps themselves.
I used 80 watt projector style lamps peaking out of the lower bumper skirt. I chose this style after walking though a parking lot and noticing that most of the low hanging fog lights were cracked. The projectors have a lens over an inch thick.
Set up works great.

These are called sight shields. If you want to install fogs the kit I used has everything shields included. Part number for kit is 82205656. Read above on my other replies for more info. If you just want the shields, maybe a salvage yard. Other than that DC will have them.
Right, but pre-98 has a button next to the overdrive button. 98 retained the earlier pull-style headlight switch, while losing the dash mounted OD switch in favor of a column mounted one. Seems as though there really isn't a standard switch from either setup that would work.
