Well, the VP 44 finally bit the big one.

I think it might be close to a record thought, 261 000 miles on the original pump that came with the truck. lol


I am in need of a new one and was wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions for getting one here north of the border.

Any help would be appreciated as I dont want to be driving the ford for too long. lol

Contact PDR out west. They are in BC and can ship you one out.

 

There are tons of Bosch and Cummins dealers in Ontario.....not sure where you live but if you are in Southern Ontario it won't be an issue to obtain a VP44 locally.

I'm close to 200K here so maybe I'll start looking also.

 

OK, I have one coming from a place near oakville so everything is under control.

With any luck I should have it all back together for sunday.

Ordered a new lift pump as well since I have everything apart even though the one on there was still producing 12 psi at cruising speed.
