That happened to mine. Greased the slide pads and pins, all was well.

sliders are sticking, common thing to see when someone just slaps brake pads on their car and doesn't pay attention to the rest of brake system

When mine first wore badly on one side I did some trouble shooting and figured out I hadn't greased the sliding pins on that set when I put the pads in. I've installed 3 or 4 sets of pads since then and have never had them wear too much unevenly. So for me, greasing the sliding pins was the answer.

I just had to R/R my right rear caliper because one of the pistons froze up....smoked the pads and caused them to wear at an angle.

Remember when compressing the caliper pistons, they should retract with little effort. If not , you may have a corroded piston.

I disagree, well alittle is normal, it looks like the ones side has alot of pad left and the other side is down to the rivets. I woulds say stick slide pins is the issue.
