Is there a locking tail gate?

I have a cover on my bed that locks but my tail gate doesn't. Is there a aftermarket lock for these?
Thanks and take care.

My '96 has a oem factory lock on the tailgate handle, Chief - it's inconspicuous, have to look to see it - may be still available from DCJ.

You could also get one that interfaces with your power locks. I have this on both of my trucks and it works great!

Where on the truck do you slice into the door lock solenoid circuit?

There is a wire bundle in the kickpanel by the driver's pedals. The instructions will tell you which 2 wires to splice into. I didn't use the splice connectors that came with the kit since they were junk, so I soldered and taped them instead. Also, I would recommend applying some dielectric grease in the quick-disconnect electrical connector by the tailgate.
