Rick, I don't think that you should have to remove the hitch unlesssomeone has tied it to the bed. The lights pop off and the wiring should unplug and come off the plastic fasteners.
Good Luck.
george

Re:Taken Daully bed
Well its about time I can lend some help around here alway leeching info! ;D Well there are I believe 8 bolts I cannot remember cause i had mine off last winter. You have to watch all the wiring because the clearance lights are wired as well as tails. The tail lights are a snap open the tail gate and take the 2 torqs out and the lights pull out. Twist the bult fittings to remove them. Pull all the wires out of the way before unbolting the box and note there location. From what I remember you should not have to remove the hitch to remove the box?? Not sure I had the factory installed hitch and I did not have to remove it. Spare tire needs to come out. Not sure if there are any exhaust hangers or anything that needs to be removed I had aftermarket on mine. Thats about all Im good for RICKI sorry. [undecided]
