Sunroof wiring help

Hey guys,

On my 99, i recently installed recon clearance lights on it. Well the previous owner had an aftermarket sunroof installed, and the switch had been intermittently working. When i opened it up to do the clearance light install, i couldn't get it to close again when i was done, so did some fiddling and chasing wires, found the two hot wires and jumped them and got it to close so i could at least drive around and not worry about rain. So now i'm trying to fix it. I cannot find any names or anything on the switch or on the module. I took it apart but have no real idea what i'm looking at - just a green circuit board with a relay and tons of resistors on it. So if anyone knows how to help me find a new one of these or fix it myself that'd be great!

I can wire it up with a momentary switch and make it work but i'd rather do it right and have it work the correct way. Thanks

If you can obviously get it open and close with a simple momentary switch, I would just dump the circuit board and crap and install a regular switch to make it open/close.

I'm almost tempted to say it might have a rain sensor because of the circuit board and such....more hassle than it's worth.

Simple works best in my opinion.

Well thats what I originally thought of doing. If I cross them one way, the sunroof opens all the way, if I cross them the other way, and go till it stops, it closes, then opens the vent. So, I'd have to be guessing and checking where to close it to every time I close it. It WOULD work but if it worked right before, I should be able to get it to work again. There is no a rain sensor, the old switch had open close and vent, but it did have an auto shut on/off (for if it was left open, when you turn off the ignition, it closes). I'll do that as a last resort, but would like it to be done the right way, if I can. Thanks
