i have an auto tranny, and on sunday i was on my way to church when the darn thing would not come out of 2nd gear. It took of real slow and hit redline at around 50-55 mph. Just wonderin' what the heck is the matter ???

 

Sounds like you have been hit with &quot;limp home mode&quot;.<br><br>You might cal Bill at DTT, he could probably help troubleshoot it. <br><br>I have heard that the codes may reset, but if it still doing it, you probably have a bigger problem.<br><br>Sorry I couldn't help!<br><br>Dave

 

On my truck, all of the electronics went out in it. The pressure senders, governors, everything. That caused a problem similar to yours. It would start off real slow, and then stay in 2nd. If I floored it, it would shift, but otherwise it wouldn't. The dealer said the codes went bad. Replaced under warranty. Thank god.

 

Could be your TPS acting up. Just a thought.....
