When I bought my truck it did not come with the tool to remove the spare tire. I to Mac, Snap on, and matco tools and they could not find an allen bit to work. I figured it would be cheap to buy a tool from them then buying on from DC. Do you guys know how much they run or a good place to go besides DC or no of something else that would work. -Anthony

 

I just use a ratchet with an extension and a socket. It works very well.

 

A 5/8 allen wrench should work. I took a 7/16 bolt, turned the threads off. I chuck it up in a 1/2 cordless drill and power the winch up and down.

 

Spare tire tool try a junk yard I bet they have them laying around and should get it at a good price.<br>
