If someone wants to help me out and get these to 500k, I'd appreciate it

I'm interested also. How do you reduce the pic size to upload them to "my gallery"?

If you want 640x480 and you're using Windows XP with MS Outlook for email; Email them to yourself. XP can resize them and send them to your inbox.

In Windows explorer, right click on the jpg, select "Send To / Mail Recipiant." Then select "Make all my pictures smaller." XP will scale it to 640x480 and send it back to you where you can save it to disk.

CAUTION: Don't save it over the top of the original. Do a "Save As" and change the name like "MyTruck640x480.jpg"

It may also work with other mail clients but I haven't tried any others.

Hope this helps.

Actually, the problem is they're over the 500k file limit. How do you reduce that?

A lower resolution results in a smaller file size. Therefore, when XP scales the image down the file size will also drop: usually down in the 75k - 90k range for a 640x480.
