Show me the way
I just changed me wheel bearing on the passanger front. In doing so there was a lot of hitting, smashing, prying and swearing in order to replace it.
Now that that is done I think my ball joints are next. After searching on here there is a diffrence of opinion as to how to check the ball joints, and what is still good and what has to be replaced.
I need some input because I tryed the tire in the air with a prybar uder it and see if there is movement and there is. I read that the ball joints have changed over the years and what mite be junk on a 94 is still good on a 02. Do I replace all my ball joints for up and down movement and no side to side? Where do I get new better than stock ones. ( P/N's would be great) I want to get some go fast goodies but I need to keep it on the road as well.

I don't think you would want much movement up front. Would be hard on tires also.

When you want to check ball joints do it with tire on and off ground enough to grab the top and bottom and tilt the tire in and out , you will need an other body to watch to see and or feel for movement.
