should I trade?

Right now I have an '01 2500 with the 6 speed and 94,000 miles thats given me a few problems this year and still needs some things fixed and I was looking at the dealer and the they just got in an 2000 3500 with a 5 speed and only 35,000 miles that they are wanting $22,000 for. I'm tempted to go trade mine in on it but I'm not shure if it is worth it?? Should I do it?

I'd be worried about a 7 year old truck with only 35k miles on it. I bet it'll leak like crazy once it starts getting used, gaskets and seals have probably dried up on it. Also, $22k is steep, it is still a 7 year old truck. Only my humble opinion though.

I agree with Kas, low miles are great however the seals are kept in good shape by moving oil through the engine. Look at Kbb.com and check on that price if you fell you really want to make the trade. Also, when ever I look at a used care I assume someone got rid of it for a reason and I will more then likely have to do something to it. Especially a 7 year old vehicle. Right now there are things that might need to be done to your truck, however at least you know what those things are.

Thats kind of what i was thinking. If I ever traded my truck for another used one it would have to be a 12valve. I was thinking that the price was pretty steep too for the condition but in my area there are almost no used Dodge CTDs maybe a handful in a 100+mile radius at the dealers and when there are they sell within a couple days for top blue book price
