I ordered a set of Bilstien 5100's this morning. Can't wait to get them on! I'll post with how they compare to the stock ride.

 

Well, I get them installed in the morning. I knew they were arriving today so I stopped by to check them out. Doggone they look cool. Those brushed silver housings look awesome with the black boots. Can't wait to see how they ride......and how they look on the truck.....It's almost like Christmas!

 

I went with the Rancho 9000's. I crank 'em up to 8 or 9 with the camper on and put 'em on 3 with no load. They work perfectly if you adjust them. It takes all of 1 minute to adjust all 4. Unless you are fat and lazy,I guess.

 

The Bilstien 5100's are now installed and I got to say "Thank You" to those who recommended them and "WOW", they ride unbelievable! My stock shocks weren't in as bad of condition as I thought. They were still rebounding ok, but the Bilstiens are so comfortable going through town, handle great, and they make the bumps go away. I found myself aiming for potholes, manhole covers, etc, etc to see what they could do. I would not have imagined they were this good. This is an awesome choice for anyone needing to replace OEM shocks.
