serpentine belt grooves

I just picked a new serpentine belt for my 02 as the original has developed a few cracks. I noticed the original has grooves on the underside and the new one does not. The new belt is a mopar with the same # as the dealer gave me but I didn't buy it from them.
Do I have a problem?

Minor cracking across the width of the belt is normal. Cracking or tearing along the length of the belt is no good. It should be grooved on the underside to match the pulleys.

Same thing here. I got it from Geno's. The backside of the belt kind of looks like aligator hide, but not a random pattern. I have 115,000 on the OEM belt. Think it's time for a change?
