seat heater

seat heater

would like to fix my heayed drivers seat.anyone know if you can get aftermarket parts or is dealer only option?

I just had my 97 driver's seat fixed by a auto upholstery shop. When they fixed the seat they added a heater. The shop owners comment is they frequently replace OEM seat heaters that have failed. He also said both the factory and aftermarket seat heaters have about the same failure rate.

Quoted cost was $220 but that was reduced since I was having the seat redone which made the seat heater install easier.
