Seat belt locked up

I have been expierencing a slew of electrical problems lately with my 1999 2500 QC, Today a problem with my drivers side seat belt cropped up. It is now locked into the stowed postion and the dash light is shining brightly. The local shop cannot get to it until next week and I need the truck this weekend to tow my Rockcrawler to an event. I am a bit worried that if I get pulled over for any reason I will get a ticket.

Is there anyway to bypass the sensor under the seat to allow the seat belt to unlock?? I know its not the safest thing to do, but I have no other way to get to the event. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried pulling the breaker? If that does not help I'd try disconnecting batteries to try to reset the system...
