OK, here's the latest gremlin in my rig. The driver's seat belt latch is causing the seat belt warning light to come on and off. How do I get the latch off and unplugged so I can replace it? Anyone else have this problem? Kurt

 

OK got the belt latch out and cleaned it out really good with superclean and rinsed w/ water and now it seems to be working again, no dash light flickering on and off! The "new" dealership in town wanted $90 US to diagnose the problem. Rairdon's Bellingham Chrysler just lost a customer. If this doesn't fix the problem I will be ordering one on-line from a parts house in OR that has supplied me before.

 

Well thats good you got it working ok I was just out looking how it comes off, guess im too slow o well. Ya sometimes the dealership prices are ridiculous. Hope it stays working good

 

thanks for the info...mine has been doing the same and i have been trying to figure out the best way to fix it. I may try shooting some compressed air in the latch before removing it.

 

Well, it was fine for a few days and its doing it again. That part is hard to find on-line. Anybody have a part # for the drivers seat belt inner anchor latch with the wire and connnector on it for an 01?
