Not really if the truck has spent it's life in Texas. Most likely the bearing will slide right off the axle if it hasn't subjected to road salt.

 

It's a PA truck. Passenger side came RIGHT off, very easy, took maybe 20 minutes. I'm fighting with the driver side spindle nut now. Hit myself in the junk last night by a flying jack handle, and had to call it a night.

That's why I break them loose with the tire on the ground.
You need to be very careful using too much torque, sometimes the nut is galled to the axle and the stub axle threads come off with the nut. New axle time, might as well replace the u-joint at this point also.
If a four foot cheater bar won't do it use a several day soaking of penetrating oil, not WD-40, and/or heat, don't keep trying to force it.

Have you found the wedging a socket in-between the hub bolts and steering knuckle trick here for removing the bearing if it's stuck on?

 

I'm going to drop that side of the truck back on the ground with a tire today and see if that does the trick. I usually use PB Blaster, but I couldn't find it in my garage, so I had to settle for WD-40. Yeah wedging the socket between there worked PERFECTLY. I actually just used the 1 11/16" nut for the spindle there, fit perfect in there. I hope I don't ruin the outter axle...that would really ruin my day.
