If the nut won't loosen use a jack and 2x4 to apply pressure upwards and use a impact to remove the nut. If it comes loose but won't knock out put the nut back on 3-4 threads and hit the nut with the hammer, remove the nut and it should fall out

'saw' the steering wheel back and forth - sometimes this will get it loosened up when the nut is already loose.

If you're not going to use the bar end again and aren't worried about the threads just turn your tires hard left and use a long rod or drift and hand sledge to beat it out.
Always leave the tires on the ground when replacing a trackbar.
