Removing Clear RTV Silicone Gasket

I am changing out my cab lights on my truck and the old lights have the clear rtv silicone gasket on them. What's the best thing to use to get the old silicone sealer off the top of the cab without damaging the paint too much? I want to start clean with new sealer when i install the new lights.

Thanks for help or any suggestions.

I have a plastic putty knife I use to pull off any old adhesives off of painted surfaces, if they are real stubborn a quick soak of baby oil usually works.
