Removing back door panels
Removing back door panels
Could anyone let me know how to remove the inside rear door panels? I have one door that won’t open at all – and the other one only opens ½ of the time. My passengers are getting a little tired of crawling out the back sliding window.
Thank you for any help you can give.

I just replaced my speakers a couple weeks ago and used a trim tool to take off those panels. There were 5-6 plastic clips that you have to be carefull with and 3-4 metal ones that come out real easy. I'm not sure if you can take the panel off with the door closed? The trim tool can be gotten at about any parts store and cost around $10. I think the metal clips were on the top/rearward corner. They were easier to start with. There was also a torx screw behind the inside door handle I think.

2 screws in the handle to close the door, one torx screw in the handle to open the door, a bunch of plastic clips. It will sound like your breaking something pulling the panel off but dont worry it is just those clips coming out. I get my hand under the bottom and work my way up popping out the plastic clips. yes you can take the panel off with the door closed, the 94-97 ext cab dodges are like that...........Jamie
