I have the same problem with my tires. The tire dealer said I should stop doing burnouts! I never do burnouts. The drive wheels just wear that way because of the torque. I rotate my tires like the manual suggests. I move the rear tires straight forward and cross the fronts as I move them to the rear. If you follow a tire as it goes through it's various positions on the truck from rotation to rotation, you will see that the tire will get placed on every corner and get reverse rotation as well. I'm convinced that rotating tires will extend the life of the tires greatly.

Perfect rotation rattle, I do the same thing every 5k miles and it does work good, I expect 100k outa my 19.5x285 tires, and it looks like I will make it easy.

Cheers, Kevin

I had the same problem with my tires, this is the very first truck I have ever owned that the rear tires wore faster than the front. I just put new 285's on and haven't noticed too much but they are only a few months old. I keep them rotated often but I talked to a tire guy and he said to keep the pressure down when not hauling and it will extend the life. I have not tried as I haul quite often and it's too much hassle to change costantly. Just a thought for you...
