Rear Seat Cover Suggestions 97 CC
Rear Seat Cover Suggestions 97 CC
Hey Guys,
Looking to find a rear seat cover because I plan on letting my Lab ride back there in the winter
.
I found this one at Geno's. http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo....ber=SS-6271-CC
And this pricey one made by Marathon https://www.marathonseatcovers.com/s...%20Pickup/1997
I'm looking for someone who has tried either of these, or any other suggestions. Would prefer one that is a little on the water resistant side.
Thanks,
Clark

I have a set of the canvas factory Mopar covers on my 02. They have been there since the day I bought the truck new and they wear like iron.
Just recently, the drivers seat cover has started to come apart and that is after some 228,000 miles. The back seat is almost always cover with tools, saws and god knows what else sometimes and other than dirty, it's in new shape.
They are still available from the dealer, but they are not the cheapest. The best place to get them and where I found my second set is Ebay.
Whatever you end up paying, it is worth every penny with regards to wear and durability. Perfect for a dog riding in the back seat for how I have "abused" my rear seat cover.

Costco Neoprene Seatcovers
With an Australian Cattle dog for a side-kick, I opted for neoprene seat covers from Costco. Neoprene, the same material as scuba wetsuits, is both waterproof and so far quite durable. Wait till Costco puts them on sale with an accompanying sizable rebate. Available in black, it should be a good match for a black lab! I want to say the rebate was around $75.00? Till they go on sale, you can always do like what I previously had...a blanket secured around the seat bottom & back with small drapery hooks. The hooks, about an inch wide & u-shaped, clip under the seat and around the seat back to secure the blanket in place.
