quad cab doors

The driver side quad door is stuck shut. The bottom door rod has come out of its holder. I know this because I have fixed it once before (or so I thought). Has anyone had this problem and or a solution to fix perminatly???

I have the same problem. My passenger side rear door has been shut for about a year now. I can see the end of a clothespin stuck in there. I have tried everything to get it free.

I also have this problem. My driver side door will open, but it is hard. If I spray some lube on it will work fine for a while and start sticking again.

I'm going to try to fix again here in a couple of days. I will let you know how it turns out.

Stuck door

Well I had to pull the door panel off inside the cab. I could get ahold of the rod with a pair of needle nose plyers but couldn't get it to release. Once the door panel was off tried to pull up on latch with hand that didn't work eather. Took a 3/8 rod bent a hook on one end to get under the latch and put another bend on opposite end for a hand hold, had a buddy help he pulled on door handle while I pulled on rod. Once door was open we took the latch off of the door and soaked it with 4d-40 put it all back together worked good until we closed door. the rod pulled out of latch again. My next step is to buy new bottom latch and door handle, and keep it greased!!!
