Powermaster Starter Issues
I have a 1yr old Powermaster 9053 starter and yesterday it stuck engaged, truck did not fire up just kept cranking until I disconnected both positive battery cables. The starter smelled real bad after this and thought it was toast but charged batteries connected batteries and started fine several times. I have blown a few PAL fuses in the last month for the starter, but it has always started after replacing. All battery cables are new made from new heavy welding cable, all connections and ends are new. Should I rebuild this starter as it is past warranty. It still looks like new. Contacts sticking? This is my daily driver do not want to be stranded, thanks
