Power Window Question
Power Window Question
I've got a 98.5 24 valve 2500.
I went to roll up the passenger side window from the drivers side and it would'nt go up. I then tried it from the passenger side with the same result.
The drivers side window works fine so I am assuming that the fuse (#20 in the left side of the dash I'm thinking) is ok.
I pulled the door panel off and removed the door lock/window control switch and checked wether or not the the portion of the switch that controls the window was still hot ( when the ignition was turned to acc) and it was.
Right now my plan is to take it in to the shop to have it checked out but was wondering if there is anything else I can look at before I do?
Thanks for any advice.
Edit: The door panel/switch I checked was on the passenger side.

Welp..that was pretty interesting
I pulled the window motor and decided to plug it back into the harness just to test it one more time and it worked!
Ok, well I put it all back together and it still works so thats good.
I know, I know the problem must still exist and I'll probably drive down the road and hit a bump just right and my window will stop working again.
But for right know the world is turning on it's correct axis again.
