Power locks

Real strange problem stuck it's head up yesterday. My door locks won't work off the button, when you push down to lock you can hear the acutators working but nothing happens, when you push up nothin. The really weird thing is they still work both ways with the keyless entry remote. Does the same thing on driver & passenger side doors.

My Jeep does the same thing if you leave the key in the ignition.
Makes me wonder if the key in lock sensor in the key switch is messing up.
Easy to check, remove the steering column cover and disconnect the two wire connector at the key switch. If it works normally there's your problem.

Thought of that myself but what gets me is when you push to unlock..nothin happens. Had the key out when I was fooling with it

Only difference is I don't have the wireless key fob's and I dont hear the actuators when I hit the power lock or unlock.
However when I do the double turn on the lock in in the door, it will unlock both doors, or lock both doors....

Did the ignition switch fix work?
