I just noticed a locking problem with my right doors power lock. When i hit either side to lock the doors the left side works perfect but the right side wont stay locked. The button goes down and pops back up. I can lock it with the key or manually push the button down. It does the same with my keyless remote. It will unlock fine with the buttons or remote. I am thinking there is something in the solinoid that wont hold it in the lock position. Ideas?

 

No one had a power lock failure i guess???

 

I guess you will have to pop off the door panel and see whats going on when you lock/unlock. never heard of the boton not staying down.

 

It pops right back up to the unlock position just like there is a detent missing. When you manually push the button it feels just like the other door which works normal. I have a new latch comming so we will see if then i can see anything.
