Pics of my 97 Dually with 36,000 miles!

Finally got around to taking pictures. Bought this from my neighbor, original owner with a 5th wheel travel trailer. It was always garaged. It's totally stock performance wise. It's also a sport package truck, but chrome grill was installed by the dealer.

Thanks for the comments guys. The more I read about these trucks the more I feel I really did get lucky. All I did to it was debadge it, than rebadge it with new ones, truck bed coat the running boards, take all the nascar stickers off, and sew a small tear in the drivers seat. So far I love it!

Sweet truck. But, there was no sport in 97 and that bumper didn't come around till 99.

Sorry, but it is a factory sport. Tag under the hood says sport package, the ugly bright green decals I took off said Sport, and the guy I bought it off says he ordered a Sport. Unless I'm missing something. The bumper is also stock from 97, but I did color match the top part to the body paint, maybe that's what's throwing you.

Yup, the front bumper was painted to match the body color. No sports on a 12v. As in the one piece bumper cover..

Nice Rig!

You're right on the bumper. Pics are a little dark and I just saw the color matched top and assumed it was the later version. Never seen a sport before 98 tho. Learned something new I guess.

I know those are a little dark, sorry. I definitely don't know much about these trucks but it does say Sport Package on the code tag. I only painted the very top of the front bumper cause it was faded, all the rest was color matched. I guess he could have ordered it with the look of a sport package?

Thanks Floyd, I don't mind. I actually bought it as a package deal with a 30 foot fifth wheel travel trailer that's in as good of condition as the truck. Came with all hitches and accessories for $13,000. I'm on Long Island NY. The trailer is worth about $4,000, so I guess the truck was about $9,000. Seems high when I look at other states but I think the low mileage and actually seeing the truck since new be cared for, I went for it. So far so good!

That one qualifies as the deal of this century...............

The truck is worth more than you paid for the package.
