Passive Locking? Not Rolling locking

Or maybe I'm all wet. My doors don't lock when the truck starts rolling, they lock a handful of seconds after the key is turned to the "ON" position.
I tried the process for disabling the "roll lock" - key on and off 4 times, stopping on, hit the door lock and listened for the chime. Nothing. Didn't work. Tried it several times. Is there something I'm missing?

That's why.

My Viper does the same thing, lock it a couple seconds after starting.
If I unlock the doors after starting, then the rolling locks lock it at 20mph.

Phox,
Thats what I thought too... But I looked thru my manual for it and it said nothing about an integrated lock when the key is on. I'm not going to discount your suggestion and will keep looking tho.

Thanks and Merry Christmas
