So this is a new thing today my truck has said its 88degs out side all day long everything else works on the over head no shorts that I can find all connections tight any one have a thought?

 

Looks like I just need a new sensor any one have a source for them other than the dealer?

 

mine does the same thing it gives way off readings in the temp but sometimes it will say CCd but the odometer still works so i thing mine is a short b/c i can hit the overhead console with my fist and sometimes it will work again. anyone have any ideas??

 

Mine used too say ccd a few time last week but i could kick the wire harness I think I know were it is if there is a short I had a zip tie rub a wire but so far everything points too it being the sensor cause i can kick the said wire and it wont change too the right temp.

 

If you need a sensor I believe one from any Chrysler vehicle will work. I got mine from a Jeep in a wrecking yard and it works fine.
